And today I have been derailed yet again…at least when my
weigh-in comes, I will know why I didn’t lose weight! I think that is why so
many dieters get frustrated…we get derailed but are never really able to
regroup. Soon, one bad choice turns into several bad choices and before we
realize it, we are back into our old habits again and any weight we did lose has
come back with a vengeance. We all set
unrealistic expectations…for instance, losing 50 lbs. in 3 months,
seriously? Try setting a monthly goal
only or better yet…a yearly goal. You’re going to get derailed and lose focus,
but if you know you have a year to reach your goal, you are giving yourself
permission to mess up and then learn from your mistake!
